When you add an Instagram account to Hire Shorts, you can publish to it, engage with your audience, create reports, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-you-begin-0-0\">Before you begin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Instagram&nbsp;offers three profile types: Personal, Business, and Creator. For full access to the&nbsp;Instagram&nbsp;features available in&nbsp;Hire Shorts, including engagement, direct publishing, and analytics, you need to add a Business profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important:&nbsp;<\/strong>Hire Shorts&nbsp;labels Creator profiles as Business profiles, but due to limitations from&nbsp;Instagram, they do not have access to direct publishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enable full&nbsp;Instagram&nbsp;functionality in&nbsp;Hire Shorts, make sure you have the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An&nbsp;Instagram&nbsp;Business profile connected to a&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;Page.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you still have a Personal profile, see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.hootsuite.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/1260804251950-Convert-an-Instagram-Personal-profile-to-a-Business-profile\">Convert an Instagram Personal profile to a Business profile<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you already have a Business profile, see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.hootsuite.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/1260804308169-Connect-an-Instagram-account-to-a-Facebook-Page\">Connect an Instagram account to a Facebook Page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An Admin or Editor Page role for the connected&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;Page if it&#8217;s a classic Page type or Facebook access with full control or partial control on a new Page type.
