Instagram offers three profile types: Personal, Business, and Creator. All Instagram accounts start as Personal profiles by default. You can choose to convert a Personal profile to a Business or Creator profile at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to limitations from Instagram, your profile type determines your access to the Instagram features available in Hire Shorts. Business profiles get full access, including post engagement, analytics, and direct publishing. Personal and Creator profiles have limited access to Instagram features in Hire Shorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For full access to the Instagram features in Hire Shorts, Business profiles must be connected to a Facebook Page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>How to check your Instagram profile type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re not sure what type of Instagram profile you have, here\u2019s how to find out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. In the Instagram mobile app, go to your profile, and then select the profile menu in the top right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Settings<\/strong> from the list, and then select Account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. On the Account<\/strong> page, scroll to the bottom. The options you see there tell you what type of Instagram profile you have.\n
