Add an Instagram Account to Hire Shorts to manage it from the same place as your other social media accounts. When you add an Instagram account to Hire Shorts, you can publish to it, engage with your audience, create reports, and more.
Before you begin
Instagram offers three profile types: Personal, Business, and Creator. For full access to the Instagram features available in Hire Shorts, including engagement, direct publishing, and analytics, you need to add a Business profile.
Important: Hire Shorts labels Creator profiles as Business profiles, but due to limitations from Instagram, they do not have access to direct publishing.
To enable full Instagram functionality in Hire Shorts, make sure you have the following:
- An Instagram Business profile connected to a Facebook Page.
- If you still have a Personal profile, see Convert an Instagram Personal profile to a Business profile.
- If you already have a Business profile, see Connect an Instagram account to a Facebook Page.
- An Admin or Editor Page role for the connected Facebook Page if it’s a classic Page type or Facebook access with full control or partial control on a new Page type. If the Page is an asset in Facebook Business Manager, you also need management access to the Page in the Business Manager account.

Tip: If you’ve already added a Personal profile to your Hire Shorts account, you can convert it to a Business profile and then add it to your account again with the following steps. Hire Shorts automatically updates the connected profile for you when you complete the process.
Add an Instagram Business account to Hire Shorts
- In a separate browser tab or window, log out of Instagram and Facebook.
- In Hire Shorts, go to My Company Profile .
- Select Instagram.
- Add Company Page
- Press Update button
Post to Instagram Business Account
- In View Jobs Page
- Select Share Jobs Button
- Select Instagram.
- Enter the Instagram account credentials (username and password) and then select Sign In.
- Allow Permissions
- Press Upload
